Essential Improv and performance skills with a focus on listening, saying yes to other's ideas, and finding the fun in what's already there. Supportive, low pressure, and laughter-filled. Students are invited to perform in a showcase at the end of each session.

Excused Absence Comedy
About the center
We offer comedy classes, camps, shows, workshops, and private events to kids, teens, families, and educators. Additionally, we host the annual Excused Absence Youth Comedy Festival, the only comedy festival in Texas with a focus entirely on performance and comedy education by and for youth.
