Week 2: Sculpt the Outdoors (Ages 8-10)

AGES 8-10
About
What if a world-class sculpture garden became your child's art studio for an entire week? Kids ages 8–10 are invited to spend five days at the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden + Museum in Austin for Sculpt the Outdoors — an immersive summer camp where the natural landscape becomes the greatest source of inspiration. Guided by a Texas-certified art educator with over 15 years of experience, campers explore how outdoor spaces shape creative ideas as they build models, experiment with natural forms, and shape simple figures across the week. Using a variety of materials, they design their own imaginative landscapes and sculpted forms — developing spatial thinking, material awareness, and creative confidence in one of Austin's most distinctive and beautiful settings. Since it's a full day from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, pack a lunch, snacks, and a water bottle to keep your young sculptor energized; sunscreen and comfortable clothes for outdoor exploration are a must. With only 15 spots available, this is one summer week worth claiming early!
