Tweens & Teens Elemental Camp: Fire
AGES 10-14
About
This Fire Element camp is for teens who want to explore the power of fire through its most accessible and sustainable form: the sun. Campers investigate how heat and light can be harnessed to cook, create, and transform materials—turning sunlight into tea, food, art, and experiments. This camp blends renewable energy, hands-on science, and creative expression. Campers learn how solar power works while using it in real, practical ways—from building solar ovens to creating cyanotypes and light-based artwork. Fire becomes a force of innovation, not destruction. What to Bring: water bottle; lunch; a morning snack; mosquito repellent (if needed); journal and/or sketchbook.
