Designed for budding inventors ages 5 to 8, this full-day immersion (9 AM – 3 PM) turns the toys kids love into a masterclass in physics and mechanical design. Parents can expect their young engineers to explore the "how" behind the "wow" by mastering simple machines like levers, pulleys, and gears through hands-on building projects. Under the mentorship of expert instructors, campers will design, test, and troubleshoot their own functional toy inventions, building critical thinking and spatial reasoning skills in a collaborative, high-energy environment. To keep their creative gears turning, the center provides a free healthy snack, though you are welcome to send a nut-free option from home. Please ensure your child packs a nut-free lunch and brings a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated. We recommend wearing comfortable, everyday clothing suitable for a day of active building. For families needing extra flexibility, comprehensive extended care is available for an additional cost, allowing for a full day of supervised innovation from 7:30 AM all the way until 6:00 PM.
