AGES 10-14
About
Think small, dream big! The Tiny Worlds & Miniatures workshop at Crafternoon ATX invites creative tweens and teens to dive into the intricate art of the miniature. Designed for detail-oriented makers ages 10 to 14, this four-day session (10 AM – 2 PM) is all about building tiny masterpieces from the ground up. Parents can expect their artists to master precision skills—from sculpting microscopic details with clay to designing custom dioramas and painting petite landscapes. Under the guidance of our expert instructors, campers will explore various textures and materials to create their own self-contained tiny universes. It’s the perfect environment to foster patience, focus, and a unique eye for design. To keep their focus sharp for such delicate work, please pack a healthy nut-free lunch, a snack, and a refillable water bottle, as meals are not provided. We recommend wearing mess-friendly everyday clothing that allows for creative experimentation—because miniatures can still make big messes! Secure a spot today and let your child discover that big things really do come in small packages.
