About
If your kid has ever wanted to break a board or wield nunchucks, this is their week. Kula Karate's summer camp is a high-energy, skills-building experience for kids ages 4–12 of all experience levels — no prior martial arts training needed. Each week, campers explore foundational karate skills including basic strikes, blocks, and self-defense techniques drawn from disciplines like Tae Kwon Do, Karate, and Jiu Jitsu. Ninja games and group activities are woven throughout the morning to keep things fun and active, and every week closes with a special skills day that may include board breaking, nunchuck training, and sparring — giving kids a seriously satisfying way to end the week. Campers should wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring a water bottle. Snacks are not provided; kids should pack their own. Families who need a lunch stay after camp should send a packed lunch from home, as meals are not provided. Early drop-off before the standard start time and a post-camp lunch stay are both available for an additional fee. Whether your child is picking up their first fighting stance or working toward their next belt, Kula Karate summer camp is the kind of week that builds skills, confidence, and maybe a few new ninja friends.
