About
Recreational Crew is the best option for students in grades 6 to 12 who are interested in rowing and paddling but are not focused on racing. This program is perfect for both new and experienced rowers. Athletes learn boating techniques, endurance, and teamwork while kayaking, canoeing, and stand up paddling on Lady Bird Lake. Practices are Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with Saturday sessions from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Please have your child bring a refillable water bottle, snacks and lunch, sunscreen, a towel, a hat, sunglasses, a bag or backpack to keep belongings, closed-toed shoes (crocs or water shoes), and medicine/allergy treatments if applicable.
