Hakuna Matata — your little one's summer just got a whole lot more exciting! For young performers ages 4–8, Mini Musical Camp: The Lion King Kids at Shine On Performing Arts is a week-long half-day theater experience where campers spend their mornings singing, acting, and dancing their way through a condensed, kid-friendly version of the Broadway classic The Lion King. From "Circle of Life" to "Just Can't Wait to Be King" to "Hakuna Matata," kids learn songs, choreography, and character work in a supportive, all-abilities-welcome environment — and it all builds toward a live showcase for family and friends on the final day of camp, Friday, July 17th at 12:30 PM. Every camper receives a customized t-shirt to wear during the week and keep as a memento. Comfortable, move-friendly clothes are all kids need to wear each day. Pack a labeled water bottle to keep your little performer hydrated. The camp has its own Snack Shack with nut-free, singing-approved snacks available for purchase via a pre-paid punch card.
