About
Could your little one have what it takes to become a doctor? For budding physicians ages 4–6, Mini-Med School at Club SciKidz Austin is a week-long deep dive into the human body where campers suit up and explore anatomy, physiology, germs, first aid, and medical ethics through hands-on experiments and activities every day. Kids build their own first aid kit, tackle a hand washing challenge, learn about the parts of blood, solve anatomy puzzles, practice splinting, and learn how to use a syringe (no needles, of course!) — all while caring for their very own stuffed animal patient. They'll also craft a working stethoscope, build inflatable lung and heart models, sculpt a human eyeball, and discover how doctors use X-rays to spot injuries they can't see from the outside. The week is anchored by "Goodnight, Little Doctor," a beautifully illustrated story written by real physicians that teaches kids about integrity and patient care — and every camper takes home their own copy along with a medical bag packed with the supplies they used all week. Each camper also receives a camp t-shirt. Comfortable clothing is all kids need to wear. Club SciKidz is a nut-free zone — kids should bring a nut-free lunch, two snacks, and drinks each day; no food is provided. Early drop-off starts at 8:00 AM and extended care runs until 5:30 PM, both available for an additional cost. If your little one is ready to make their first diagnosis, browse available sessions and grab one of the limited spots today.
