Make a splash this holiday at the Memorial Day Camp hosted by the Texas Rowing Center! Designed for active adventurers ages 5 to 12, this full-day experience (9 AM – 4:30 PM) is the perfect way to spend the school holiday on the beautiful waters of Lady Bird Lake. Parents can expect their campers to engage in a diverse mix of activities, from learning the fundamentals of rowing and water safety to exploring their creative side with outdoor drawing and painting sessions. Under the supervision of experienced instructors, kids will build confidence on the water, discover local nature, and enjoy a day of high-energy fun with new friends. To keep your explorer fueled for a full day of rowing and swimming, please pack a healthy nut-free lunch, two snacks, and a refillable water bottle, as meals are not provided. We recommend your child wears water-friendly clothing (like swimwear or quick-dry gear), plenty of sunscreen, and water shoes or sandals with a heel strap.
