Kids Chem Cook All-Day Camp (Ages 5-12)

School is out, so let's cook and explore! Each camp day pairs a unique science lesson with a uniquely matched culinary lesson, giving kids a fun, hands-on learning experience they can taste. This is the ALL DAY camp registration (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM). Camp Day: Nutty for Science on National Almond Day (MLK Day). Kids explore energy, nutrition, and food reactions as they make almond-inspired snacks, experiment with oils and fats, and learn about plant-based chemistry. Camp times: Full day 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Class Requirements: Child must be potty-trained. Please send child with a water bottle to camp. What you'll learn: Children will perform hands-on experiments each day. In the kitchen, they'll learn how to follow recipes. Measure liquids and solids correctly. Learn to utilize multiple culinary tools. Learn various cooking techniques. Other Things To Know: Classes have a $50 deposit, non-refundable. Full refund (minus deposit) if canceled >14 days before start; credit/transfer only within 14 days; no refunds once class begins; credits valid for 12 months.
