Improv for Teens

About
Improv depends on listening to one another and saying “Yes!’ to one another’s ideas. But to create funnier scenes and more developed characters, we look for the unusual thing and heighten it. We call this “finding the game.” This week, we begin with Improv basics but focus on identifying and heightening the comedy in what’s already there. All levels welcome.

Excused Absence Comedy
About the center
We offer comedy classes, camps, shows, workshops, and private events to kids, teens, families, and educators. Additionally, we host the annual Excused Absence Youth Comedy Festival, the only comedy festival in Texas with a focus entirely on performance and comedy education by and for youth.
