Ready to hit the field this summer? For young athletes ages 5–13, Flag Football League Summer 2026 at i9 Sports is a Saturday outdoor league running June 6 through July 18 that combines practice and game into one convenient weekly session — no extra commitments, no tryouts, no drafts. Note that there are no games on July 4th. Every child plays every game, and teams are coed and organized by age group so kids are always competing at the right level. Younger players focus on the fundamentals — running plays, flag pulling, passing, and scoring — while older athletes progress into more advanced offensive and defensive concepts including positions, coverage, and playbooks. Each week features a dedicated Sportsmanship Medal awarded to a standout teammate, reinforcing the values that carry beyond the field. Each registered player receives an official i9 Sports jersey to keep. Kids should wear black shorts or sweatpants without pockets or belt loops, and cleats are required for safety (no metal spikes). Snacks and meals are not provided — pack a labeled water bottle and a snack, especially for those warm summer mornings.
