About
Every little dancer starts somewhere — and this is a pretty magical place to begin. Dance Arts Pflugerville's Creative Movement/Ballet/Tap class introduces young children to the joy of movement through a playful combination of three foundational dance styles in one welcoming class. Kids explore creative expression through movement, build ballet basics like posture, balance, and body awareness, and get their first taste of tap — shoes and all — in a judgment-free studio led by seasoned instructors who prioritize proper technique from day one. Girls should wear a leotard and tights — no specific color or brand required — and may add a skirt if they'd like. Boys should wear a form-fitted t-shirt with leggings or shorts. Ballet slippers are required and tap shoes should be brought to class, as students will change into them during the tap portion. Hair should be up and out of the face, and all kids should arrive in street shoes to change out of before entering the studio. With a nurturing environment built for dancers of every level and a spring performance to look forward to at the end of the semester, Dance Arts Pflugerville gives young movers the foundation — and the confidence — to keep dancing for years to come.
