Is your little baller ready to hit the court this summer? i9 Sports' Basketball League Summer 2026 Rec Division brings the fun every Saturday from June 5 through July 17, giving kids ages 4 to 9 a fantastic introduction to one of America's most beloved sports. This is a one-day-a-week commitment built for busy families — practice and game day happen in the same session, so kids immediately apply what they learn in real gameplay. From dribbling and passing to shooting and basic team concepts, young athletes are introduced to fundamentals in a supportive, no-pressure environment where every child plays, no tryouts required. Each week, coaches reinforce good sportsmanship values just as much as skills on the court, building confidence, teamwork, and a love of the game that goes way beyond the final buzzer. A jersey is included with registration. Pack a snack and a water bottle to keep your young athlete fueled through game day, and come dressed in athletic clothes and sneakers ready to run.
