Batter up! For little sluggers ages 3–6, i9 Sports' Baseball Instructional Program is the perfect introduction to America's favorite pastime — and it all happens outdoors on Saturday mornings at Sent Church in Prosper. This co-ed program runs weekly from June 5 through July 17, with each Saturday featuring a practice session right before game play so kids can sharpen their skills and then immediately put them to use. At this age, players focus on the building blocks of baseball — catching, throwing, fielding, and hitting off a tee — all in a pressure-free, fun-first environment that prioritizes confidence and a love of the game over scorekeeping. Sportsmanship values like respect and teamwork are woven into every session, and a weekly Sportsmanship Medal is awarded to recognize kids who model those values on the field. A jersey is included with registration. Kids should also come with sturdy athletic shoes and a baseball glove. Pack a water bottle and a snack to keep your player fueled for a morning on the field. Note there is no program on July 4. Spots are limited — grab your little one's place in the lineup before the season fills up.
