About

Studio Bella For Kids is a fearlessly creative STEAM enrichment studio founded in 2008 by award-winning graphic designer and educator Tammy Bardwell, built on the belief that kids learn best when they don't realize they're learning. Located in the White Rock area of Dallas, Studio Bella fuses Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math into hands-on, imagination-driven experiences for kids ages 4–12, offered through summer camps, weekly after-school classes at area schools, birthday parties, Girl Scout workshops, and the Explorers after-school care program — a five-day-a-week, state-licensed program serving elementary students at select DISD schools. During classes and camps, kids dive into bubbling experiments, engineering challenges, art projects, and creative problem-solving, with a brand-new project every week to keep things fresh and exciting. Snacks are provided through DISD for the Explorers program, though parents are also welcome to send their own. Kids should bring a refillable water bottle, and since sunscreen and insect repellent are not provided, parents are encouraged to pack labeled bottles of each in their child's backpack. Comfortable, mess-friendly clothes are recommended as art and science projects can get creative — and a little messy!
