Idea Lab Kids - Central Houston

Idea Lab Kids – Bellaire is a STEAM-powered enrichment center serving children ages 4–12 in the heart of the Bellaire, West University, and Medical Center community, founded by educators and parents Suniti and Kabir Barua who built the campus with a hands-on, holistic learning philosophy at its core — recently voted Best Learning Center in the Houston Chronicle's Best of the Best 2026 awards. The Lab offers after-school programs, summer camps, school day off camps, and birthday parties, all rooted in that same hands-on approach. After school combines school pickup, designated homework time, and one to two daily enrichment classes in areas like Lego robotics, science, engineering, visual arts, culinary arts, and design — giving kids a genuinely stimulating alternative to sitting in front of a screen after school. Summer and school-break camps dive even deeper, with themed full- and half-day experiences like Medical Science Pet Vet, Genetics & Dissection, and Build Your Own Robot. Before and after camp care is available for families who need extended hours. We are a nut-free facility. Comfortable, easy-care clothes that can handle glue, markers, and the occasional science experiment are the way to go for any day at Idea Lab.
