Hoops School is a West Houston basketball training program serving boys and girls in 1st through 8th grade across year-round skills classes, homeschool classes, summer camps, a 3-on-3 league, one-day clinics, and advanced training for intermediate and experienced players. Beginners build foundational skills in ball handling, dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, and defense, while more experienced players work on advanced moves, reading the defense, and developing their overall basketball IQ. Every session blends structured skill work with live game time, and coaches emphasize teaching kids not just what to do on the court, but why — so that good decisions become second nature. Summer camps run Monday through Friday and wrap each week with a Game Day where parents are invited to watch their kids play full-court 5-on-5 games. Kids should come dressed in athletic clothing and court shoes and bring a water bottle. Popsicles are provided during summer camp; for full-day camp sessions, kids should pack a lunch. Extended care is available for summer camps for an additional fee. Whether your child is just learning to dribble or getting ready to make the school team, Hoops School meets them exactly where they are — and builds them into the kind of player who thinks the game, not just plays it.
