Heartsong Music has been a beloved part of Austin's early childhood community for over 20 years, offering Music Together — a research-based music and movement program recognized nationwide for nurturing musical development in the earliest years of life. Founded and led by Carey Youngblood, the program brings together a passionate team of trained teachers who share a deep love of music and a gift for connecting with young children and the caregivers who love them. Classes are designed for children from birth through age 5, with a specialized option for the youngest non-movers (birth to 8 months) and the full Music Together experience available for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners. Each session, kids and their grown-ups sing, move, dance, and explore a wide variety of instruments and musical styles together — building listening skills, language development, and a natural love of music in a warm, joyful classroom environment. Dress your little one in comfortable clothes they can move freely in, and pack a snack and water bottle for after class. Whether your child is hearing their first songs or already dancing to every beat, Heartsong Music is where a lifelong love of music begins.
