About

Frisco Fencing Academy in Frisco, Texas offers Olympic-style fencing instruction for young athletes across three skill levels — Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced — in a purpose-built facility designed specifically for focused, distraction-free training. Beginners are welcomed into a calm, supportive environment where they build the fundamentals of the sport: footwork, technique, safety, and the core values of respect and discipline, with competitive demands held off until confidence is firmly in place. Intermediate students move into more structured training with a deeper focus on movement and strategy, while Advanced athletes work closely with experienced coaches on precision, competitive preparation, and long-term development. Often described as physical chess, fencing builds balance, decision-making, emotional control, and strategic thinking — skills that extend well beyond the strip. The facility features 10 fencing strips, dedicated training zones, and an open floor plan designed to support focus and progression, with 5+ trainers on staff including Head Coach and Director of Fencer Development Chris Slaughter. Private one-on-one lessons with the head coach are also available. Athletes should wear comfortable athletic clothing and athletic shoes. Snacks and meals are not provided. For a kid who thrives on challenge, craves something genuinely different, and is ready to discover a sport that sharpens both mind and body, Frisco Fencing Academy offers the kind of training environment where that growth actually happens.
