About
The only facility in the Austin area to feature tennis, pickleball, and padel all under one roof, Dripping Springs Racquet Club offers a junior development program built on a clear, skills-based progression that meets young players exactly where they are — starting as early as age 3. The youngest players join Tiny Tots (ages 3–4) in a parent-guided introduction to the court, while beginners ages 5 and up move into Red Ball classes where they build fundamental reactions, coordination, and confidence in a fun, age-grouped setting. As skills grow, players advance through Orange Ball, Green Ball, and Pre-High Performance tracks — each with defined entry and exit skills — all the way through the High Performance program for serious, tournament-committed players. Junior Team Tennis rounds things out by giving players real competitive match experience against other clubs around Austin, with DSRC teams having reached the Texas Sectional Championships including a state title in the 14-and-under division. The program is led by Director of Racquets Coach Kevin Clark, a multi-award-winning USPTA coach with decades of experience developing junior players. Kids should wear athletic clothing and proper court shoes — no street shoes or running shoes on the tennis courts. Bring a racquet and a water bottle to stay hydrated through every session. Snacks are not provided for regular classes, so pack one to keep your young athlete fueled. For Summer Sports Camp (ages 5–12), snacks are provided daily — campers just need to bring a sack lunch, a refillable water bottle, and sunscreen. Whether your child is stepping onto the court for the very first time or chasing a tournament ranking, Dripping Springs Racquet Club gives them the coaching, the structure, and the community to love this game for life.
