CompuChild of North Austin brings Cognia-certified Entrepreneurial STEAM enrichment programs to kids in the Cedar Park area, offering after-school classes and summer camps for students from preschool through 9th grade. Their curriculum is built around four pillars — science & technology, finance & business, communication, and ethics — making it one of the few kids' enrichment programs that goes well beyond coding to cover real-world skills kids don't typically get in a classroom. In STEM & STEAM classes, kids build robots with LEGO, program drones, design games in Roblox, Scratch, Unity, or Unreal, and explore web development, circuits, and augmented reality. Finance & Business courses — developed by professionals with Wall Street and Big Four accounting backgrounds — introduce kids to budgeting, investing, and pitching a startup idea. Communication classes cover public speaking, debate, animation, and blogging, while Ethics engages kids in philosophical enquiry and collaborative thinking. Summer camps go deep on a single theme — robotics, game design, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, or communication — and wrap up with a project or class presentation. No prior experience is needed across any program. Comfortable, school-appropriate clothing is all kids need to show up in. Snacks and meals are not provided — parents should send kids with a snack, especially for camp days.
