About
What if your child had a creative safe haven where they could get messy, make things, and walk away genuinely proud of what they built? That's exactly what Cherrywood Treehouse Art Studio offers kids ages 8–12 in the heart of East Austin. Run by owner and instructor Rachel Graham, the studio keeps things intentionally small and personal — offering weekly Art Club sessions on Wednesday afternoons as well as full-week Summer Art Camps, where campers work through two full art projects each day spanning painting, drawing, sculpture, clay, and mixed media. Improv-style brain break games are woven in between projects to keep the energy fun, and each camp week wraps up with an Art Show where kids proudly display everything they've made. Virtual homeschool classes are also available for families who prefer to create from home. Rachel's approach is instructional with plenty of room for creative freedom — the goal is to help every child get comfortable with different mediums, trust their own artistic instincts, and enjoy the process of making something uniquely theirs. Wear clothes you don't mind getting messy, and plan to pack a lunch and snack for full-day camp days and a snack for Art Club sessions, as food is not provided. If you're looking for a small, soulful art experience where your child is truly seen and celebrated as a creative — this is it.
