Cheer Dawgs

Cheer Dawgs is an Austin-based after-school cheerleading program founded in 2022 by Heather Miller, a Doss Elementary teacher, former University of Georgia cheerleader, and 19-year coaching veteran who competed at the USASF Cheerleading Worlds and placed fourth in the world. Designed for boys and girls ages 5–11, Cheer Dawgs introduces young athletes to the foundational skills of cheerleading — motions, jumps, chants, cheers, stunting, and tumbling — all in a safe, uplifting environment that puts community and confidence at the center of every session. Kids should come dressed in athletic wear like fitted shorts or leggings and a comfortable top, with hair pulled back and sneakers ready to move. Pack a snack and a water bottle to keep energy up before practice gets going.
