Challenge Island (West Plano & North Dallas)

Challenge Island is a hands-on STEAM enrichment program where children work together to solve creative challenges, build imaginative projects, and explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math in a fun and engaging way.

Our programs are designed for elementary-aged children and include summer camps, school-break camps, after-school classes, field trips, family STEAM nights, birthday parties, and special events. Each experience combines teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and the engineering design process through exciting themed adventures.

Challenge Island camps give children the opportunity to design, build, experiment, and create throughout the week. Camp themes may include slime, glow-in-the-dark science, amusement parks, superheroes, dinosaurs, inventors, escape rooms, Roblox-inspired adventures, and more. Campers work in small teams, make new friends, and complete a variety of hands-on challenges while developing confidence, communication skills, and a love of learning.

Whether children are building roller coasters, creating slime businesses, designing escape rooms, constructing superhero hideouts, or inventing their own amusement parks, Challenge Island makes learning feel like an adventure. Our screen-free programs keep children actively involved from beginning to end while encouraging them to think creatively, collaborate, and bring their ideas to life.
