Balance Dance Studios is an Austin-based performing arts studio with a mission to empower movers of all ages through high-quality dance training, meaningful mentorship, and a community that truly feels like home. Offering classes for ages 2 through adult, their lineup includes Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Acro, Aerial Silks, Ballroom, KPop, Yoga, and more — plus summer camps and holiday camps where kids enjoy creative movement, choreography, themed crafts, and teamwork games, competitive dance companies, and birthday parties. Dress code varies by class — Ballet requires a leotard, tights, and ballet shoes; Hip Hop calls for comfortable athletic wear and non-marking sneakers; Acro requires form-fitting attire with no jewelry — and all dance shoes and attire can be conveniently purchased at Symmetry Dance Apparel, located right inside the studio. Kids should bring a self-sealing water bottle, as only water is permitted inside — snacks are available on-site at the vending machine and snack bar. Parents can relax in the lounge with complimentary coffee and HD camera feeds of their dancer in action.
