Pure imagination meets pure creativity at Kidcreate Studio's Willy Wonka Candy Crafts Summer Camp — a sweet-themed afternoon art camp for kids ages 5–12 running Monday–Friday, June 8–12 from 1:00–4:00 PM at the Northwest Austin studio on Research Blvd. Inspired by the wonderfully wacky world of Willy Wonka, campers spend the week creating candy-themed art projects using a variety of materials and techniques — from sculpting and painting to mixed-media candy masterpieces they'll be proud to bring home. Kidcreate's curriculum is designed to build artistic skill, confidence, and creative thinking in a positive, self-esteem-boosting environment led by enthusiastic instructors who love working with kids. Dress your young chocolatier in comfortable clothes they don't mind getting creative in. Pack a water bottle and a light snack to keep energy going through the afternoon session. Whether your child is a first-time artist or a seasoned creative, this is a week where candy and creativity collide in the best possible way.
