About

Some of the most breathtaking art in the world takes its cues from nature — and this week, your child gets to find out why. Kids ages 5–7 are invited to spend the week at the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden + Museum in Austin for Art in Bloom!, a full-week summer camp where the garden's own plants, petals, and sunlight become the starting point for everything campers create. Led by a Texas-certified art educator with over 15 years of experience, young artists explore texture, color, and form by observing the real blooms and greenery growing around them, then translate those natural inspirations into their own hands-on artmaking projects throughout the week. From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day, campers spend their time discovering how nature and art connect in one of Austin's most beautiful outdoor settings. Pack a lunch, snacks, and a water bottle to keep energy up through the full day, and dress your child in comfortable clothes they can move and explore in — sunscreen is a must for outdoor time in the garden. With only 15 spots available, claim your little artist's place before this one blooms out!
