About
Minecraft Specialist is a game design and coding camp for kids ages 9-13 at One Community Church - Lewisville, hosted by Club SciKidz Dallas. Campers dive into Minecraft Education Edition's Adventure Mode to learn fundamental game design principles, mastering essential commands, using Redstone for interactive elements, building engaging storylines, and designing challenging puzzles. The week culminates in a showcase where every camper presents their original game creation to fellow campers. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with optional pre-camp care starting at 8:00 am and post-camp extended care available until 5:30 pm, both for an additional cost.
