About
Jr. Robot Engineer is a hands-on robotics and engineering camp for kids ages 6-8 at One Community Church - Plano, hosted by Club SciKidz Dallas. Campers learn about the six simple machines and how they combine into complex machines, exploring electricity, circuits, and power sources as they build a Mars-like RC Snap Rover capable of performing 23 experiments and activities. Campers also build an Artbot and a Bristlebot, and take all their robots home at the end of the week for hours of continued fun. This camp sells out every year without fail. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with optional pre-camp care starting at 8:00 am and post-camp extended care available until 5:30 pm, both for an additional cost.
