Summer Camp: Jr. Physician (One Community Church - Lewisville)

Jr. Physician is a hands-on medical science camp for kids ages 6-8 at One Community Church - Lewisville, hosted by Club SciKidz Dallas. Future doctors spend the week learning that the human body is miles of blood vessels, hundreds of muscles, thousands of hairs, a furnace, a filter, and a fancy computer - all rolled into one! Campers receive their own stethoscope and percussion hammer and power through a week of exciting experiments centered on anatomy and physiology. Sample projects include Building a Lung Model, Testing for Germs, Building a Spinal Column, Skin Prints, and more. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with optional pre-camp care starting at 8:00 am and post-camp extended care available until 5:30 pm, both for an additional cost.
