Summer Camp: Crazy Contraptions (One Community Church - McKinney)

Crazy Contraptions is a mechanical engineering camp for kids ages 9-13 at One Community Church - McKinney, hosted by Club SciKidz Dallas. Young engineers embark on an exciting journey into the world of mechanical engineering through engaging activities that ignite curiosity and foster teamwork. Campers experience blueprinting, collaboration, and real-life lessons in perseverance as they tackle Newton's Laws of Motion, physics, energy, and more. Using Keva Planks, engineering kits, and everyday household items, they take on challenge after challenge in this highly collaborative, hands-on camp. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with optional pre-camp care starting at 8:00 am and post-camp extended care available until 5:30 pm, both for an additional cost.
