Strings Intro is a beginner string instrument camp for students ages 6 and up at Music Institute of North Texas in Frisco, TX. This immersive camp introduces students to the enchanting world of violin, viola, and cello, drawing from both Suzuki and traditional methods to teach fundamental string techniques essential for mastering these beautiful instruments. Campers develop proper posture, bow technique, and basic musicianship skills in a warm, encouraging environment guided by university-trained MINT faculty. Students must bring their own instrument - MINT can guide families to a nearby rental shop if needed. All sessions are taught by university-trained faculty on staff and conclude with a mini-performance at the end of the camp week. Spots are limited - secure your child's place today!
