Designed for young space enthusiasts aged 5-11, this high-energy astronomy and physics program invites campers to explore the deep mysteries of the universe, our solar system, and cosmic travel. Students actively participate in unforgettable hands-on activities, creating custom moon rocks, concocting Yoda's bubbling slime swamp, launching chemical-powered rockets, weaving solar system bracelets, and creating beautiful space-themed artwork. Campers also learn fundamental thermodynamic principles as they design and build operational solar ovens and test their own air-powered flyers modeled after iconic galactic starfighters. This creative engineering process sharpens spatial reasoning, critical thinking, teamwork, and scientific problem-solving skills in a fun, coach-led laboratory environment. Running each morning from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, this highly focused session is perfectly structured for early risers ready to kickstart their day with intense scientific discovery and hands-on building blocks. To stay safe and fully participate, kids should wear comfortable play clothing and closed-toe shoes ready for cosmic exploration.
