Pop Music for Pianists is an intermediate piano camp for students ages 7 and up at Music Institute of North Texas in Frisco, TX. Campers dive into the vibrant world of contemporary music, exploring chart-topping hits by artists like Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Ariana Grande while enhancing their piano technique and deepening their connection to the music they love. Song and artist selections are updated each year to keep the repertoire fresh and current. Recommended for students with music reading ability and one to two years of prior piano experience. Music reading ability required. All instruments are provided. All sessions are taught by university-trained faculty on staff and conclude with a mini-performance at the end of the camp week.
