Pflugerville: Thanksgiving Week Camps

Crux Climbing Center is one of Austin's premier indoor rock climbing gyms, offering a safe and welcoming environment where kids of all skill levels can discover the sport of climbing while building confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. For youth, Crux offers Crux Crushers Camps for ages 6–12 — where campers spend their days climbing, doing yoga, crafts, and fun games — a non-competitive Recreational Team for ages 8–13 that focuses on climbing technique, strength, and life skills like communication and trust, a Recreational Team+ for kids ready to level up, a Youth Competitive Team for those who want to train and compete in USA Climbing competitions, and birthday parties complete with staff belayers and all party supplies. All climbing gear including shoes and harness is provided at no extra cost, so kids just need to come in comfortable clothes (t-shirt, shorts or pants, and sneakers) with a water bottle. Snacks and lunch are not provided — campers must bring their own non-microwavable, non-refrigerated packed lunch and a healthy snack each day, labeled with their full name and packed in a sack or cooler (no glass containers). As a bonus, Rec Team members also get the chance to take their skills outside on organized outdoor climbing trips to local spots like Reimer's Ranch and Bull Creek!
