Minecraft Coding (Tuesdays)

What if your child's favorite game became the place where they learn to code? In Minecraft Coding & Modding, students transform Minecraft from a game they love into a creative coding playground. Through hands-on, project-based lessons, kids learn programming fundamentals while building custom worlds, designing mods, creating new tools and items, and developing interactive game mechanics of their own. The course is designed to grow with each student. Beginners can start with visual drag-and-drop coding, while more experienced learners advance into Java programming and more complex projects. Along the way, students strengthen computational thinking, debugging, problem-solving, creativity, and project-planning skills in a fun and familiar environment. Each class gives students the freedom to experiment, build, test, and improve their creations while receiving guidance from experienced coaches. Projects may include custom Minecraft adventures, personalized texture packs, new game mechanics, coding challenges, and original projects students can continue developing at home. Beyond Minecraft, students build a strong foundation for future learning in Python, Java, Roblox Game Development, Unity, artificial intelligence, robotics, and other advanced technology pathways. It's an engaging way for young creators to turn their love of gaming into real-world coding skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of how technology works.
