About

Minecraft - Arcade Makers is a five-day game design and coding camp for students ages 7-14 at iCode North Dallas, TX. Campers learn to design and build their own Minecraft minigames from scratch using advanced command blocks, strategic game planning, and WorldEdit for efficient world-building. As the week progresses, students master game mechanics and server management, building a custom server lobby and ultimately launching their very own public server where others can play their creations. This is the perfect entry point for aspiring game developers who want to move from playing games to building them. Every session also includes a daily Digital Citizenship lesson on online safety and responsibility, a one-hour Personal Project Lab where campers create something uniquely their own with AI-assisted guidance, and ongoing development of soft skills like teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at iCode North Dallas, 14902 Preston Rd, Suite 411, Dallas, TX. Enroll in Minecraft - Arcade Makers and give your child the skills to go from gamer to game creator!
