AGES 11-18
About
Learn to Row Camp - Morning is a five-day beginner rowing camp for youth athletes entering Grades 6-12 at Dallas United Crew, on the beautiful shores of White Rock Lake in Dallas, TX. No experience is needed - just a willingness to get on the water. Morning sessions run Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 11:00 am, giving young rowers a focused, energizing start to their summer day under the guidance of expert DUC coaches. Over the week, campers progress from understanding the fundamentals of the rowing stroke and boat management all the way to practicing crew formations and building real race-ready teamwork. The week culminates in the Gold vs. Blue Day - a fun, competitive 500-meter race on White Rock Lake complete with team colors, a coxswain-led warm-up, and a full award ceremony to celebrate every rower's achievement. Athletes are grouped by school level (middle school and high school) and this camp serves as the pathway into Dallas United Crew's competitive fall programs for Under 15, Under 17, and Under 19 athletes. Spots fill fast - enroll your future rower in Learn to Row Morning Camp and let the adventure begin!
