About

What if the Titanic could have been saved — and your kid was the one to figure out how? Bricks Bots & Beakers' Epic Engineering Disasters camp invites curious minds ages 5–11 to investigate some of history's most fascinating failures, from the sinking of the Titanic and the collapse of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge to the wings of Icarus and the Exxon oil spill. Running each morning from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, campers rotate through four hands-on stations daily — science, engineering and technology, art, and personal exploration — discovering what went wrong and designing solutions of their own. Along the way, kids build real-world soft skills like teamwork, communication, public speaking, and creative problem solving, all woven naturally into the week's activities. The camp wraps on the final day with a theme-related movie. Kids should bring a snack and a water bottle each day, as snacks are not provided. For kids who love asking "why did that happen?" and "how could we fix it?", this is the camp that turns curiosity into confidence.
