About

Memorial Day week just got a whole lot more exciting — and a whole lot more educational! While the holiday kicks off the week, there's no reason the curiosity and creativity have to take a break. Kids ages 5–11 can spend four action-packed days diving deep into history's most jaw-dropping engineering failures at Bricks Bots & Beakers' Epic Engineering Disasters Full Day Camp in Plano. From the collapse of the Fidenae stadium and the sinking of the Titanic to the tumbling of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and the mythical wings of Icarus, campers explore what went wrong — and then roll up their sleeves to engineer solutions of their own. Each day, kids rotate through four dynamic stations covering Science, Engineering & Technology, Art, and Personal Exploration, building not just structures but the kind of real-world skills that matter: public speaking, creative problem-solving, teamwork, and confident communication. The week wraps up on a high note with a themed movie on the final day, making it a camp experience kids will be talking about all summer long. Dress your little engineer in comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes ready for hands-on action. Full-day campers must bring their own lunch, 2 snacks, and a water bottle each day, as meals are not provided on-site. Spots fill fast for holiday weeks — browse available sessions and secure your child's place at the lab bench today!
