About
This summer, your skater won't just take classes — they'll explore the world. Camp VIDA: Summer Explorers takes kids on a journey through the global world of figure skating, with each week introducing new skills, themes, and inspiration from skating cultures around the world, complete with a passport to track their progress along the way. Open to all skill levels with no prior experience required, camp sessions are grouped by level so beginners, intermediate, and advanced skaters each get coaching that meets them where they are. Each half-day session follows a purposeful structure — off-ice warm-up, independent on-ice warm-up, level-based skills classes, a water and snack break, on-ice games, and a cool-down stretch — designed to maximize focus and progress without fatigue. Dress skaters in warm, layered clothing with gloves or mitts, a hat, and socks that cover the ankle. A helmet is strongly recommended, especially for beginners. Pack a water bottle or sports drink and a quick healthy snack, as snacks are not provided. Skates with blade guards are welcome, and rental skates are available for those who don't have their own — so no gear is required to get started. First-time campers will receive a Skate VIDA Passport upon arrival to track their journey all summer long. For skaters who want to build real skills, real confidence, and a real love for the ice, Camp VIDA is the summer adventure worth coming back to week after week.
