Campers use diverse cutting-edge robotics platforms like BeeBot, Coder Mouse, and Edison Robots to master algorithmic logic, while utilizing Snap Circuits and Rover kits to explore electricity and power sources. Working in cooperative design teams, students construct custom operational BattleBots out of recycled materials, culminating in a thrilling, friendly end-of-week arena competition that perfectly demonstrates the power of persistence, creative collaboration, and structural logic. Running each afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, this high-energy program serves as the perfect creative outlet to keep young minds intellectually engaged, active, and social during the midday hours. To stay safe and fully participate, kids should wear comfortable, non-restrictive everyday play clothing and closed-toe shoes ready for the lab. Please pack a nutritious, nut-free snack and a refillable water bottle to maintain their investigative stamina, as food is not provided by the facility.
