About
This once a week 60 minute class focuses on studying audition technique and learning how to stand out at an audition. Students will dive into games, activities, scene work, and character development. They will learn about what a "cold reading" is, how to slate at the beginning of an audition, and how to stand out from the crowd. We will also focus on important stage skills, such as learning how to "cheat out" towards the audience, vocal projection, and finding scenic beats. Students will get lots of individualized attention as they work to hone their singing and acting skills at the next level. Each student will study different songs and scenes from musical theater that fit their audition "type
