About
AI - Powered Robotics Lab is a five-day, cutting-edge STEM camp for students at iCode North Dallas, TX. Campers enter the world of artificial intelligence through hands-on robotics, using the VEX IQ AI Vision Sensor to train a robot to 'see' and identify objects in the real world. Students apply those skills to navigate engineering challenges while also exploring AI language models like Gemini as coding assistants to help generate and troubleshoot block-based programs. The week builds toward an AI Grand Challenge where every team applies everything they've learned to program a robot to solve a complex, custom-designed problem. Every session also includes a daily Digital Citizenship lesson on online safety and responsibility, a one-hour Personal Project Lab where campers create something uniquely their own with AI-assisted guidance, and ongoing development of soft skills like teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at iCode North Dallas, 14902 Preston Rd, Suite 411, Dallas, TX.
