About

Bring your imagination to life in three dimensions at the 3D Printing Camp with Blender by iD Tech! Held at the prestigious UT Austin campus, this intensive full-day experience (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) is designed for tech-forward students ages 10 to 12 ready to level up from hobbyist to creator. Parents can expect their young innovators to master professional-grade 3D modeling skills using Blender, an industry-standard tool, before seeing their digital masterpieces become physical reality through 3D printing. Under the mentorship of expert instructors, campers will navigate the entire design process—from initial concept and mesh editing to final print preparation—building spatial reasoning and problem-solving skills in a high-tech university environment. It’s the perfect launchpad for future engineers and digital artists to turn "what if" into "here it is," one layer at a time. To keep their creative gears turning for a full day of innovation, lunch and snacks are typically included in the session fee (please verify specific dietary accommodations on the provider site). We recommend wearing comfortable, everyday clothing suitable for navigating a college campus. Secure a spot today and watch your child manufacture the future!
