3D Modeling with Blender
AGES 8-14
About
3D Modeling with Blender is a five-day digital design and animation camp for students ages 8-14 at iCode North Dallas, TX. Campers dive into the world of professional 3D design using Blender - the same industry-standard software used by designers, animators, and game developers worldwide. Over the week, students learn to navigate Blender's workspace, build and shape original 3D models, apply colors and materials, and bring their creations to life with lighting, cameras, and basic animation. Daily hands-on challenges build skills progressively, culminating in a final project where each camper designs and presents a unique 3D creation - from characters and vehicles to one-of-a-kind original designs. Every session also includes a daily Digital Citizenship lesson on online safety and responsibility, a one-hour Personal Project Lab where campers create something uniquely their own with AI-assisted guidance, and ongoing development of soft skills like teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at iCode North Dallas, 14902 Preston Rd, Suite 411, Dallas, TX. Enroll your creative kid in 3D Modeling with Blender and watch them build something truly amazing from scratch!
