3D CAD Design, & Printing (Full Day)

Have you ever wondered how engineers and inventors design the products we use every day? In 3D Design & CAD Creator Camp, students learn how real designers turn ideas into digital models using Computer-Aided Design (CAD). Using Tinkercad, a beginner-friendly design platform used in STEM classrooms around the world, students will create their own 3D models while learning the fundamentals of engineering design. Throughout the week, students will design custom objects, explore how real products are modeled, and prepare their creations for 3D printing. By the end of camp, students will have built a collection of original 3D designs and will see how their digital creations can become real physical objects.
